Backstabbing King is a strategy game based around the rules of chess, where you must kill your own pieces at night to ensure that only the two kings remain on the board.Backstabbing King is a much expanded and improved upon version of the top 200 ranked game I made for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam. It features 26 unique levels, 5 new mechanics, and a compelling story.
